Telbet KYC Verification Process
Telbet runs an account verification (KYC) check to confirm who you are, where you live, and that the payment method belongs to you. The check starts when you hit certain account actions or when Telbet flags an account for manual review.
- Identity (ID/Passport): Telbet asks for a clear photo or scan of a government-issued document. They accept a passport or a national ID card; some accounts also get the option to use a driving licence. The image must show the full document, your photo, name, date of birth, document number, and expiry date, with no cropped edges and no heavy glare.
- Address proof: Telbet requests a document that shows your full name and current residential address. Typical examples are a utility bill, a bank statement, or a government letter. The document date must be recent (commonly within the last 3 months) and the address must match the details in your Telbet profile.
- Payment method: If you deposit or withdraw by bank card, Telbet can ask for a photo of the card. They check the cardholder name and the last 4 digits; you should hide the middle digits and the CVV for security. If you use a bank transfer, Telbet can request a bank statement or a screenshot showing your name and the account/IBAN used. For e-wallets, they may ask for a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and the wallet ID/email.
Verification is requested at registration for some accounts, and it is also triggered before the first withdrawal, after a large deposit or withdrawal, after changes to your profile details, or when a payment method is added or replaced. Telbet can temporarily limit withdrawals until the check is completed.
Processing time depends on queue and document quality. Clean, readable uploads are commonly reviewed within 24 hours; manual checks and resubmissions can push it to 48–72 hours. If a document is rejected, Telbet typically asks for a new photo with better lighting or a more recent address proof.
Right now, Telbet KYC follows a standard three-step flow: ID, address proof, and payment ownership, with most reviews finishing
